The new Peruffo Jewelry booth at Vicenzaoro originates from an element already present in the brand’s identity: the modular system of blue columns and transparent glass developed by Andrew Taylor Parr for previous installations.
For this new iteration, AMAA takes these elements and radically transforms their scale and function. The display module becomes architecture: an open, accessible structure in which columns, translucent surfaces and transparent display cases create a system of solids and voids, depth and overlapping layers.
Blue, an immediately recognizable element of Peruffo’s identity, takes on a new dimension within a larger, more articulated space. Glass becomes an integral part of the architecture, working with light and transparency to create a shifting perception of the space.
At the center of the project, a large suspended circular structure introduces an almost sculptural presence: a light source that extends across the upper part of the booth, amplifying its atmospheric dimension.
The project reflects the approach of AMAA, the practice founded in 2012 by Marcello Galiotto and Alessandra Rampazzo, where research and construction converge in a methodology based on the relationship between materials, structure, memory and the building process. An approach that begins with what already exists and transforms it without erasing its memory.
It is precisely within this continuity through transformation that the dialogue with Peruffo emerges: an established system is reconsidered, expanded and brought into a new spatial dimension.
The new booth marks the beginning of a broader collaboration between Peruffo and AMAA, which will continue with the design of the new boutique in the Middle East.
